Hi I'm Daniel

I am Argentine. I am a convert. I love my friends and family. I am mormon.

About Me

I'm originally from Argentina but have lived here in the USA for almost 6 years. I love my friends and family and I know that they can't be replaced. I love meeting new people because it always brings me to new places. I love to surf because the sun feels amazing on my back and I love the salt air of the ocean. It's so beauty to wake up and see the ocean. One day it can be like glass and the next it can have 10 to 20 foot swells. I love getting my friends together to surf, play soccer and go hiking. I love this church and what it has done for me in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I used to think I had everything I ever wanted. I had my family, friends, a nice car and everything else I could ever want. I always had this one feeling though, it was the feeling of assurance. The assurance that my friends would always be there and I would have a place to go if I ever had trouble. I felt like I was happy but I felt like there was more. I went to church one sunday and I saw the difference between them and my other friends. They had great fun and it was clean. I could tell that they truly were happy. This made me question my own happiness. The happiness that I thought I had was false. I met with the missionaries and the things they told me sounded like sweet music to my ears. I felt a warmth in my heart, a warmth that I didn't want to leave. After I was baptised I have been blessed so much. I have been given a new, clean life to live. I have never had such caring friends as I do now. They are friends that truly do care about who I am and my safety. I am so happy to be in this church and I'm so grateful for what it has done for me. Through the strength given to me by my Heavenly Father I have quit smoking, drinking and have grown closer to Him. I know that I can do all things through Christ my savior and I'm thankful for His blessed attonement so my sins can be forgiven. That feeling of knowing that the bad things I have done can be forgiven is a feeling that I hope everyone can obtain. I love my God, my Savior Jesus Christ and our prophet today Thomas S. Monson and the modern day revalation that he gives to us.

How I live my faith

I have come to know this church is true because I have read The Book of Mormon. I have thought and prayed over what I have read and God has answered me with a warm feeling that fill's the whole of my heart. Through obedience to His commandments, sincere prayer and scripture study I have been blessed with everything my heart needs. I have come to learn that the things God wants you to have come in His time not your own. He gives you exactly what you need when you need it, nothing more and nothing less. There is a blessing in everything that you do. All you need to do is look for it. Shortly after I joined the church my brother past away and I felt anger towards God because of it. What I didn't notice was that it was then that I had to lean on His everlasting arms and he gave me the strenght to deal with it. I know that my brother is in a better place because God provides for His children and I know through my obedience to His commandments, prayer and scripture study my Heavenly Father will always provide a way for me and be my everlasting rock to lean upon.
