Hi I'm Allison

I am descend from English, Scottish, Japanese and Portuguese ancestors. I speak Korean. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single adult who loves to follow sports and play sports, especially tennis. I also enjoy reading and watching movies and going for long drives just to clear my head. I love to enjoy the beauty outside through hiking and running. I am an avid learner and am always interested in the newest tidbit of information about anything really. My family says that I am full of useless trivia. I love to see people reach their potential and strive in my personal and professional life to facilitate that process.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad's family has been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints almost from the beginning. My mother joined the church when she was 12 years old. I always have looked up to their example and their faith. When I was 8 I choose to be baptized because I knew that that was what I was supposed to do. But over the years I have gained a greater testimony of this Gospel and I don't just follow it because I know it is what I should do but because I know that it is true. I know this church has the fullness of Christ's gospel which was restored to the earth by Joseph Smith I know that by following the teachings of Christ in its entirety that I am following God's plan for me. He wants me to live with him again and only by following his Son can I achieve that feat. I know Christ died on the cross for all mankind and suffered in Gethsemane for our sins. I know the Book of Mormon along with the Bible contain the fullness of the Gospel. I know by following their teachings along with the Living Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson's teachings we can live forever with God, Jesus Christ and our families and have eternal happiness. Why am I a Mormon?? Well it gives my life purpose gives me something to work for but most importantly it gives me truth which fills my soul and life with hope and happiness no matter the circumstances that I have to endure.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving each day to learn more about my Savior and his teachings through study of the scriptures and frequent prayer. I enjoy attending church every Sunday and serving among the young women in my area. I want them to come to a knowledge of the truth so they can have strength to face the trials that await them. I plan and prepare lessons most Sundays and help prepare activities each week to give them that strength. I also visit with 4 women each month about church topics, their life and other things making sure that they have their spiritual and temporal welfare needs taken care of.
