Hi I'm Bryan

I'm a husband , I'm a father, I'm a physician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in rural Utah. I am married to a beautiful and supportive wife and have three wonderful children. I spent two years as a missionary in Brazil. I moved my family across the country to the green mountains of Vermont for medical school and am continuing my medical training in Northern Indiana. When not in the hospital I enjoy playing outdoors with my family and occasionally find time to play or watch sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in an active Mormon family and am grateful for the example my parents provided. I found that when the things I had been taught by my parents were challenged it was important for me to obtain a personal assurance of the truth of these teachings. Through study and prayer I have obtained a personal conviction of the truth of the Gospel. I am a Mormon because I have received spiritual confirmations primarily through feelings of peace and understanding, because I find the doctrine to be sound, and because I find the direction I receive for me and my family to be extremely fulfilling.

How I live my faith

I attend Church meetings on Sundays, teach a group of men one Sunday a month, spend a few evenings a month visiting other church members in their homes to provide a Gospel message, support, and/or needed service, and periodically accompany the missionaries who are serving locally. I strive to follow the council of the church leaders, to be a good husband and father, and to serve my fellow man. In doing this I always fall short, and rely heavily on the mercy of the Savior Jesus Christ.
