Hi I'm Adam

I'm a dad, neighbor, weird-food-eater, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father first and foremost. I am also many other things like friend, brother, home teacher, wanna-be-funny-guy, and boss. Most of my time is spent with my family and at work. Sometimes I get a little time to spend with friends, but that doesn't seem to happen very often. I get a little time to go to the gym and watch football, but my hobbies are limited because of my lack of free time. I love to travel and to eat unique and weird food. While I feel that my life is full of unending things to do, I love my life, I feel very blessed, and I wouldn't change it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Holy Spirit has borne witness to me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's true church. I have felt the Spirit witness to me on many occasions that the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ are indeed true. Because of the witness of the Spirit, I do not need to rely on anyone or any other thing to know truth. This knowledge helps confirm the Lord's love for me.

How I live my faith

I am the high priest's group leader in my ward. This gives me a great opportunity to get to know many of the members of our ward and also many good neighbors. Each week the high priests group leadership will visit families in our ward. It is my privilege to meet these good and hospitable people. I am also a home teacher. I enjoy the goodness I feel from the good families that I am assigned to home teach. I find myself learning from each family during each visit. One of the great blessings in my life is service in the Lord's church.

Are Mormons Christians?

Adam
We couldn't be anything else. The name of the Church includes his name. There is nothing more central to the Church than Jesus Christ. He is the beginning and the end. He is the foundation of the Church. We honor the prophets and many great women and men that have served the Lord, but we do not worship them. They are just men and women. We only worship the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can return to live with our Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ. We only serve Jesus Christ. As we follow the Savior, we are Christians. Show more Show less
