Hi I'm Joe

I served a mission in the Canary Islands, I'm married with 3 beautiful kids, I'm a pilot, I'm a runner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a few different locations. I lived in California for 8 years, England for 4 years, and Utah for 7 years. I served a mission in the Spain, Las Palmas Mission ( aka Canary Islands). I have a BA in Spanish with a minor in Communications. I married a beautiful girl from High School. We have two boys and a girl. All are very active. They enjoy sports, traveling and cycling. I am commercial airline pilot. I enjoy flying and traveling to different parts of the world. I enjoy running, wood working and just about any type of tinkering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised LDS. I enjoyed and learned many life lessons taught by the gospel. However like many as I reached 18 years, I had to make the dession to continue practicing what I had been taught or start my course. I took the time, close to a year, to really read and study the doctrine, pray and really find out for myself if this religion was true. After many months I receieved an answer that I had been looking for. Shortly thereafter I served a mission for two years sharing the doctrine and the way any individual may learn for him or herself.

How I live my faith

Out of the last 13 years I have spent 10 or those teaching the young men of the Church. They are so fun and humbling to teach and work with. The last 3 years I have been working with the men of the Church. I have helped organize many social fucntions as well as other activities to help with brotherly bonding and spiritually strenghten each other. I has been very rewarding to see people develop the desire to change their life for the better. It is so humbling and awsome to see the influence of Christ in an individual's life. I read scriptures as often as I can with my family, we pray together, eat together and do as much as possible as a family to strenghten our relationships.
