Hi I'm Paul Velasco G.

Hi, I'm Paul a Husband, Dad,and Musician ( in that order:-)).

About Me

Hello Everyone!!! My name is Paul Velasco, and I´m form Ecuador in south-América. I work in a symphony orchestra as doublebassist. The most amazing thing of be a musician is that you'll never be boring, always your mind is working with new pieces to perform. And you can say a lot of things that you cannot to say in words. Also I love to the basketball and Im an Chicago bulls fan;-) (a soccer fan too) I enjoy to play with my children and have a date with my wife, yeah, have a date, because she is my girlfriend forever. I'm a music teacher, is amazing how the music can brings to the children of my country the opportunities to get a better life in a economic, social, intellectual ways. I love to do something for someone in some place.

Why I am a Mormon

The church tought me two things that I´ll never forget. The love of the Heavenly Father. & The rules of the Heavenly Father. I don´t care if there out in the world, exist people that pretends destroy our faith, simply, this will never happen. Why? because the Church was founded by the Same Jesus-Christ and restored by Joseph Smith, The Prophet of the Restoration. Be a mormon is not easy, you must be prepared to follow what I call "the mighty rules", and those are every word that comes from the mouth of the prophets of this dispensation. And obviously the teachings of your local leaders. Love your family as yourself, also is a mighty think. For this reasons, my faith, as mormon, is so important to me, I dream and hope that everyone will knows our beliefs. I publish and admin a blog named LAESPADADELABAN.COM, Where I try to share good stuff for mormons and non mormons. ...."I cannot do everything for everybody, but I can do something for someone". :D

How I live my faith

I travel a lot, and I like to see that when it comes Sunday and I'm in another city, the church is the same wherever I go. I met a young church with my older brother. I think that the Church came at the right time in my life when I needed divine help and guide. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint, offer to us peace and progress in this life and the next. Jesus directs it and it´s full of men with the aim to be better every day. I served an LDS mission in Colombia, and learned a lot from those people, the best that I learned was, how to serve others.
