Hi I'm Rosa

I'm a Mormon since 2001. My family knew the Church in Mexico and is the best thing in our lives.

About Me

I'm 41 years old, married and mother of 3. I met the Church in Mexico where I got baptized 11 years ago. We were sealed as an eternal family in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico Temple 10 years ago, this is the best experience in my life. The knowledge of my husband and my kids will be with me for ever is a great blessing. I like camping, reading and movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I met the Church in the middle of a marriage crisis and I have to admit that I had the worst attitude about everything (homemaking, marriage, raising kids). I hated to clean my house and my life routine; but maybe 6 months after we got baptized I realized that I was cleaning my house with a smile in my face and that discovery change my perspective about everything. I realized that my life was the same (in some aspects) but my attitude made me a happier woman. Having the gospel in my life made the difference. Reading the book of mormon was a challenge but after 2 years I finished it and my testimony came to me like a sunshine. I understood Who I am, Why me, Where I am going, What kind of woman I must be to be happy and many other questions. We got sealed in Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico Temple 10 years ago and that is the best experience in my life. I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is truth and becoming a Mormon changed my life. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ is a Church of service and work. I have served as secretary and counselor in the women organization, Counselor and teacher in the Primary, Sunday School teacher, Music director, Cub Master and is a good way to give thanks for the blessings in my life. We love going to the Church every Sunday and doing different things like visit other people, sing in the ward choir and watching church videos or movies. We don't miss football, picnics or tv shows on sundays. I can't see my life without Sunday. We have traditions in our family and one of them is going to Salt Lake City in April and October for General Conference. Get tickets and see our prophets is a great experience. I love to visit sisters every month (we call it visiting teacher) and share a wonderful message from our leaders. I love living my faith, but the best part is when I see my kids doing the same, working hard and serving others.
