Hi I'm Trevor

I'm a husband, a musician and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah, and I continue to live in Utah although I've lived out of the state for jobs and my two year mission to Brazil, São Paulo. I'm a music major at Brigham Young University, playing the bass. I play classical, jazz, rock and a number of other genres. I've been playing semi-professionally for a number of years, freelance, and recently with the U.S. National Guard Band in Utah. I'm interested in Music business, marketing, entrepreneurship and having a career that I can have a lot of fun while supporting my family. I'm married and love my wife more than anything. We're looking forward to having a family of our own soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Mormon church. I've always loved it. Even when I was a kid I remember feeling in heart that the church was true and that I was where I needed to be. I'm still a stalwart member today because I feel in my heart and know that it is the true church of Christ on the earth. On top of that knowledge, I just love being part of the church. I love the meetings, I love the fact that I have responsibilities inside the church. I love the knowledge that we are all working together to help each other through this life. The church is more than a place to meet every Sunday, it's a family.

How I live my faith

I think that what I try to do most to live my faith is remember that it always better to do what is right, no matter the consequences. Life gets tough sometimes, and it's often difficult to do what needs to be done. But it is always better to do it. I strive my best to keep the commandments, follow the Prophet, read my scriptures and attend all of my church meetings. I'm far from perfect and I have a number of things that I'm working on to improve my life and learn more about faith. Living my faith is a constant battle, but I have found that living my faith brings the greatest happiness, more so than anything else in my life. My faith in God is what keeps me going, it's what keeps me from giving up when things get tough. It's what keeps me fighting for what is right.
