Hi I'm Mason

I'm a golfer, balloon artist, musician, a son, a brother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21. I am currently serving a full time mission for my church. I am from a good size family, youngest of 6. There are 3 boys and 3 girls in my family and my mom and dad. I love playing any and all sports. I love golf, soccer, basketball, disc golf, and football. I would have loved to play these sports for high school, or college, but there is just not enough time to do everything. I love trying new things and trying to master something new, however every time I realize I may not be able to be perfect so I become as good as I can. I love the out doors. I love being out side doing something. I also love studying the scriptures, my favorite thing to read.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love the feeling I get when I pray about things in the church, especially the Book of Mormon and a prophet who lives today. I am a mormon not because of how much I have learned but because of how it makes me feel. I have prayed to GOD and asked him, the one who knows all things, if this is the church of his son Jesus Christ, and it is. You can know too,if you just ask him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing it through the way I act. When I'm at work or playing around, I try to do as Jesus would do; try to think as he would think. I see others like Jesus would see them. When help is needed I don't slip into the corner I try to go help. When we are baptized we take his name upon us. (Galatians 3:27). I think of it like, being as one with him. I want to do something good for others!!!

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Mason
The 12 Apostles in Christs' time witnessed that Jesus lives again. The 12 Apostles today do the same thing. They are called as special witnesses of Christ. How do you prove that Jesus is the Christ? The proof is in the resurrection. How do you prove the resurrection? Witnesses! Mormons have a Prophet and 12 Apostles to witness of Him and organize His church in these latter days. This IS Christ's church today. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Mason
Nope, not at all. I love with all my heart my mission. I hope all who can will go!! We are not required to serve, we go because we want to go, because we love our brothers and sisters & we will do anything for them! We are happy and we want to give that to others. We know the church is true!!! Show more Show less
