Hi I'm taylor oxley

i'm a weight lifter, i'm a musician, i'm a missionary, i'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born in Redding California but unfortunately my parents got divorced when i was young so Ive spent a good majority of my life in Utah. I cant complain about Utah, its a beautiful place! i love the mountains and the snow! I graduated from high school back in 2009, since then Ive been in north Georgia serving a mission for my church more on that later. I'm gonna be heading back to Utah late 2011 and begin my training to become a fireman. As it already says, "I'm a weight lifter". i love the gym! that place has relieved a lot of stress at certain points of my life! if i could i would live in a gym! God has given all of us a body and i want to make sure i make the most out of mine! Another passion in my life is music. i couldn't imagine life without music! the instrument i played back home was the guitar, but i never put my full effort into that instrument and i regret it. When i return from my mission one of my goals is to master the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were members so obviously i was born into the Mormon church. But eventually you need to know for yourself on whether or not something is true, especially when that something is such a significant part of your life. it was during high school that i started to question if God really existed, I really felt that there was no way you could possibly know if God was really there. my disbelief only grew as I started to look at all the horrible things in this world like war, hunger, disease and poverty, which made me question if he was there. eventually I just became an atheist. but then something happened, I cant go into specific details because its way too personal, but I came to the knowledge that god existed! and I'm so thankful for experiencing what i experienced because I know that if I didn't experience what i experienced I never would have believed in God!  I cant express how happy I am to know that god lives and that there's a purpose to life! And words cant describe how happy I am being a member of his church!

How I live my faith

&nbspThe best way i am living my faith right now is serving as a full time missionary in Georgia. missionaries are those dudes who are dressed in the white shirt and tie and ride around on bikes. What missionaries do is teach people about the restored gospel, setting aside everything else, for two years straight! another way i live my faith is just trying to do what Jesus would do, nothing fancy, just trying to be kind, loving, compassionate. If you claim to be christian you should practice what you preach, right?&nbsp
