Hi I'm Scott

I was born and raised in California. I work on airplanes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband to the most wonderful woman and father of two beautiful young children. I like reading, airplanes and doing family history work (genealogy). I have been a member of the Church for twelve years.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I did not belong to a specific church, but I always had a faith in my Heavenly Father. As I grew older, that wasn't enough. I read the Bible, but wanted to have a more personal relationship with my Savior. When my neighbors invited me on a vacation to the river, I experienced first-hand a family who had strong faith and very close relationships with each other. Their example made me want to learn more about what they believed and led me on a path to baptism and all the blessings I have since received.

How I live my faith

When my Bishop talked to me before my baptism, I said I wanted to participate "all or nothing". I decided then and there, that I wasn't going to give halfway to the Lord. I have learned so much since I joined the church and have made truly lasting friendships with the members of my ward (congregation). I have had some great opportunities to serve that have made me a better person. My favorite thing to do is to go visit families in their homes and share a message about how the Gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my life. Currently, I serve as a counselor to my Bishop and, while it is challenging, I am learning much and am grateful for the influence of the Spirit of the Lord.
