Hi I'm Josh.

I'm a photographer, a runner, and a free thinker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love books and reading on most any subject. I worked in a library for over two years. I am an active college student. I go running frequently to relax and stay fit. Spending time outdoors recharges me and freshens my perspective. I have a passion for photography, especially capturing the beauty this world has to offer. I always take the opportunity to travel and have a long list of destinations yet to reach. I am an energetic and curious individual with a strong sense of humor. I love to laugh, I love living, and I love God.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this is the Church of Jesus Christ. I have deep and undying conviction of it. He has restored this Church to the Earth and it contains a fullness of His Gospel and His teachings. I know it because I have studied it, pored and pondered over it, and prayed fervently about it. I know it because He has told me it is true through the power of the Holy Ghost, and I cannot deny it. This knowledge is precious to me because every day it makes me happy, keeps me going, and reminds me who I am. It energizes me and is the center of my life.

How I live my faith

I make it a point to study and review the teachings of the Savior and ponder on how to make them part of me and part of my life. I served as a full-time missionary teaching about Jesus Christ and His Church in Brazil. I had the privilege of meeting all varieties of people and to talk, share, and learn about our Savior with them. Sharing with others what is so important to me was a priceless, indescribable experience.
