Hi I'm Liz

I'm a Mormon. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. But most of all I am a Child of God.

About Me

I'm a working mother of two adorable, sometimes annoying, children. I got married later than most Mormon girls. I was 27 when my husband and I were married in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. And then we waited, and waited, and waited to be blessed with children. When it didn't happen the "normal" way we decided (after much prayer) that our children were already here on earth. Eleven years after our wedding we were blessed with a 6 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. Through the miracle of adoption, we are blessed to be parents of two of Heavenly Father's incredible children. And while I may not have the means to give them everything, it is my life's mission to share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a mormon. My parents are great examples to me. I have learned from their example and have prayed and studied myself to learn of the truth. I know that this is where you will find the complete Gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel a great peace when I pray to my Heavenly Father. I know, through the power of the Holy Ghost, that this is The Church of Jesus Christ. He stands at the head of the church and directs it through a living prophet. I love my family and am grateful for the power that allows us to be together forever.

How I live my faith

Living what I believe is an everyday thing, not just a Sunday event. My faith is who I am. I have had the opportunity to serve in church. To teach the youth (my favorite), to lead the women, to help the children, to feed those that need a hot meal, to watch someones kids so they can have some together time, to be a sister to those in need.
