Hi I'm Alex

I'm a pre-medical student at BYU, a pianist, and a biology tutor.

About Me

I'm a molecular biology major at BYU, though I'm preparing to go to the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2012. I love serving others as a youth mentor and a biology tutor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member. However, I'm old enough that I've had to learn for myself that the Church is true. The Church is more open than most churches to scientific advancement. I have found nothing in science to really concern me about the truth of the Church. That left the religious path of proof: I asked God if this was His Church. A feeling of peace, joy, and love, three fruits of the Spirit (Gal. 5) washed over me, as God said yes.

How I live my faith

Have you ever wondered where you came from, what your ancestors were like? We place a big emphasis on family history, and I like help others find out about their ancestors, in addition to doing my own family history research. I also love to serve where I can, which has defined my career choice (medicine) and my extracurricular activities.
