Hi I'm Bob

I'm an LDS Mormon. I was born in MN. & joined at age 21 in Billings, MT.; Mission to Uruguay '59-'61; Raised 9 kids in Ammon, ID.

About Me

Raised Methodist as we moved about from MN to Calif, to MN again, to Billings ,MT, to S. Calif again. I feel like a Montana boy, tho my HS and 1/2 university were in S. Cal. Joined Baptist Ch. '55 in Riverside, CA. Active in sports & outdoor recreation, & like agriculture. Joined LDS '57 in Billings, MT., LDS Mission to Uruguay '59-61, BS Forestry & Range Utah State Univ '64. . Three 12-yr careers, all in SE ID & W, Wyo: 1- USFS; 2 - Sales (med sales rep); 3 - Health dept inspector. Md Donna Jolley (of SLC) in Logan Tample Sept 1962: 6 sons & 3 dtrs; most live in N. UT where the majority of the 30 G'kids are. My talents include baritone singing voice, artistic, creative, inventive, athletic, hard worker, nature, truth, author-BoM Geography, author-Creation-vs-Evolution, author-Constitutional principles, genealogy, gardening, poet and lyricist.

Why I am a Mormon

The Lord has protected and guided me periodically, in obvious ways: 1 - Saved me from drowning in the Santa Monica surf at age 4+; 2 - Moved me to kneel in prayer at age 11 in a Methodist church camp in MT.; 3 - Answered my shower prayer at age 19 in S, Cal. forcefully telling me to NOT become a Baptist minister, but continue my forestry studies, and in another year or so I would know what to do. A year and 3 months later, in Billings, MT. I was baptised LDS (9-22-57), converted to the truth, witnessed by personal revelation. Next, I went to BYU (57-58) to "get Mormonized," and prepare for a mission, which was accomplished to Uruguay ('59-'61). Md. Donna Jolley (SLC) in Logan Temple 9-21-62. All 9 children raised LDS in Ammon, ID. and md in the temple; 6 served missions. To receive a copy of my conversion story, "I Saw Jesus In The Water," email me at websterbob801@gmail.com.

How I live my faith

I've been active in missionary work as an Elder & 70, ward & Stk Mission Ldr, Stk Exec Sec, Fam Hist Consultant and temple worker. All 9 children married in the temple. Keep active with 6 of the 9 children & their children (3 sons have left the tree of life for the great & spacious bldg.). I am open to all discussions of truth (Gospel, Creation, Constitution, BoM, Science). I offer a BoM to anyone as a gift, and explain it's origin and purpose, compared with the Bible and modern LDS scriptures. All testify of Christ.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

The word polygamy, though commonly used, is a misnomer. Polygyny is the correct biological term for one male cohabiting with more than one female. Male mammals who engender offspring are really only biological "sires" until they actually provide, protect, and care for those offspring as a personal "father," and love and provide for their biological "dam" as a true mother/mate/wife. Currently, in Christ's Church, one spouse only is allowed by God in these times, under divine instruction, as explained above. Christians cherish the Biblical accounts of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob's House of Israel - all established on a Jehovah-approved polygynous culture. Jesus came from this genealogy.
