Hi I'm Dex

I'm a faithful servant of the Lord and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently, I'm serving an full-time mission at Atlanta, Georgia. I'm an active member of the church since 17 years of age. I'm from Peru, mostly raise within the states. I enjoy playing Basketball, even though I might not be the greatest. I love music, especially tabernacle songs.

Why I am a Mormon

Having seen the good example of other Latter-day Saints, have made me realize what made them secure about themselves. So why? because of the evidence of their testimony. Having and being active within a church is not a mandatory decision, but a choice of living. Having a testimony of the restore gospel of Christ brings comfort to individuals and their families.

How I live my faith

Living by faith is not just saying it, but living it. You have to act for what you know, and the way you do that is service. Service is such a wonderful experience to obtain, when it is doing with the right attitude. More importantly, it is a Christ-like attribute. As a missionary, service is all we do, and I couldn't have imaging any of the blessings I already had without actually serving others.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Dex
This is probably one of the most asked question I have face in the mission. Just like one of the 12 apostle have said, we just as the people of old, are still in need of guidance from God, or revelation. Is that not why He left us The Holy Ghost? In my opinion, He already knew we were going to seek for his help, whether we have the Bible or not or even a Book of Mormon, and that's exactly why He still answer prayers and backs it up with The Holy Ghost. A Restoration was needed to straighten up the opinion of men. Show more Show less
