Hi I'm Josh

Im a Washingtonian.Im a sports fanatic. I have a music enriched life. Im a Mormon

About Me

Besides being your average single adult living in an ever changing world, I love and enjoy every bit of my life. I am the oldest of three children and have a loving mother and father who do the best they can in taking care of me and my siblings. I am a man of many interests. I absolutely love and adore sports and athletics. Football, Basketball and Track being the ones that I like the best. Also, growing up in a household where you moms piano students are always tinkling the piano keys, I have grown up in an atmosphere of music and instruments. I enjoy singing in quoirs, playing my trumpet and go as far to say that Ive had a little bit of experience playing the piano myself. I couldnt live without music. But, of course, the gospel takes center stage in my life and has blessed me in so many aspects and ways. As of now, I am currently serving in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission and am enjoying serving my Father in Heaven very much. Its a once in a lifetime thing and Im going to make every minute of it count! P.S. Im going to make the hairy eye famous one day! If you dont know what that is just you wait and see.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Father in Heaven and I know that He knows and loves me. I am a Mormon because of the blessings that I have seen my family receive by living the gospel of Jesus Christ and the blessings that they have received since I have been on my mission. I am a Mormon because of the power of the Atonement and powerful effects that it has had on my family and friends lives. I am a Mormon because of the testimony that I have built and contributed to throughout my life of the gospel, the Saviour and what he has done for me and of the power of the Book of Mormon. This church is truly the Lords Kingdom on the earth today.

How I live my faith

Well, to start off, Im currently serving the Lord as a missionary in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission. Before my missionary service, I enjoyed serving all the people in my church to the best of my abilities, whether it be helping a new family move into the area or simply visiting people and talking with people that attend my congregation. I try and show charity, show love, and bring happiness into other peoples lives because I know thats what the Lord wants me to do.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

This is one of the questions that we want the people that we teach to ask us when we are serving our missions. To know if our denomination is the right one out of all the churches out there. To gain a personal testimony and receive an answer its very simple yet so amazing. Through reading and praying about the Book of Mormon you can receive you answer if you truly, faithfully want to. In James 1:5 it says Let him ask of God, who giveth to ALL men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him." Joseph Smith, a true prophet of our church came to know which of the sects was true by doing exactly this. He knelt down in prayer and offered up his heart unto his Heavenly Father inquiring about what church to join...and he got his answer. Like Joseph Smith, we too can receive that personal witness from God through the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the one and only true church standing on the earth today.
