Hi I'm John Shelburne

I grew up in Sunland, CA. I have one brother & one sister, my mom is from Ecuador & my dad, who has past, was from WI.

About Me

I am married and have two beautiful girls. I am a Respiratory Therapist and teach in the Respiratory Care Technology Program at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, MS.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Both of my parents were converts to the church and so I grew up in the church long with my brother and sister. When I turned 19 years old I decided to serve a mission and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others and was able to do so in Hawaii. It was there that I was truly coverted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I truly loved serving the people of Hawaii and being able to watch the coversion of others. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, the Bible along with the Book of Mormon, both of which testify of Jesus Christ and which as we use together will bring us closer to our Savior and Father in Heaven. I am grateful for the experiences which I have had in my life thus far and I love my family and friends and love to help others whenever I can.

How I live my faith

I sttend church each Sunday with my family. My faith in Jesus Christ is what keep me going, having a psoitive attitude, and loving others as I would myself. I love being able to serve and help others, everyone whether or not they are a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
