Hi I'm Greg

I love people, Country music, Apple computers, driving, meat, history, photography, cereal, boots, girls, and amazing movies.

About Me

Born and raised in Provo, UT, but don't let that fool ya. I've been breaking the mold since the day I was born. I've always had the burning desire to be myself and to do things that nobody's done before. It used to get me in a lot of trouble, but through the years I've learned how to be myself and be completely different while still living within the principles of the Church, and now it's nothin but good. A 360º look at my car could tell you pretty much everything about me. I've got a Jolly Roger (skull & crossbones, but with swords instead of bones) on the hood, a dreamcatcher and a UVU parking pass hanging from the rearview-mirror, and a whole bunch of stickers on the back window and bumper, which include - • Gryffindor coat-of-arms (Harry Potter) • Rebel Alliance logo (Star Wars) • Angels & Airwaves (band) • Apple (Apple computers) • "Country Music - 4 Chords & The Truth" • "Faith - Hope - Charity" • In-N-Out Burger • J-Dawgs And that's me. I'm crazy, opinionated, free-spirited, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. Not because I was raised one, or because I am related to a former Prophet, or because I'd get in trouble with my parents if I didn't go to church. There was a time when those were my best reasons, but I have learned the long & hard way that it's just true. Completely and flawlessly true. I have learned that the principles and truths and commandments that I have been taught my whole life, are the ONLY way to TRUE happiness in this Life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being unafraid to share the Gospel anywhere and anytime, accepting others the way that Christ accepts them, and making sure that all the art I create, in any form, is uplifting and inspiring and teaches true principles.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Greg
Not everyone is allowed in the temple, because not everyone has properly earned it. The Temple is the house of God and as the scriptures say several times "No unclean thing can dwell in the presence of God". Now, obviously nobody that goes in there (except Christ, who does in fact appear in the temples from time to time) is perfect, or truly clean enough to dwell in the presence of God. But those that are truly striving to be clean and perfect, and allowing the atonement to work in their lives each and every day, are welcomed into the Lord's house. Not allowing everyone in is simply to ensure that the Spirit (Holy Ghost) is comfortable residing with the company that is there. Is there something secret in the temple? Yes and no. We do not talk about some of the things that we see, hear, learn, or feel in the temple because they are sacred. Not secret, sacred. Too personal and divine to simply share with anyone. Even people who are not familiar with the word "sacred", can surely relate to this concept. Everyone has things that they only share with a few people, or nobody at all. Simply because they are not comfortable doing so or because people should not know. It is not meant to offend anyone or make them jealous that we know something they don't, it is simply personal and sacred. Show more Show less
