Hi I'm Holly

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home Mom of 2 Beautiful Little Girls! My husband and I have been married for 5 years now. I love to spend time with my family, as well as our big extended family! Although I didn't cook much before I met my husband, cooking is one of my favorite hobbies now! I also really enjoy keeping our family blog. Record keeping has always been very important to me and I have tried many ways of doing it over the years, and for my lifestyle right now blogging seems to work best! My family and I also enjoy being on the go!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church with my mom when I was 10 years old. There were times throughout my teenage years that I questioned the standards and the principles that I had learned at church and from my family, I think most teenagers do at one time or another. But as I have grown older, have a family of my own, and through much prayer I KNOW that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the True Church on the Earth at this time! I know that the teachings set forth are right and true. And I am so grateful that our Heavenly Father has allowed us each the gift of personal revelation, so that each one of us can pray and ask Father questions and recieve answers for ourselves.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each day of my life. I stay home with my 2 little girls and I LOVE it! I enjoy teaching them about who they are and where they came from. And eventhough they are still small I try to teach them to stand up for what they know is right and good. I also enjoy teaching them about serving others. We do this in our family by including them in things that we do for others, as much as possible. For example if we are baking something for someone we get our oldest daughter help with ingredients and the mixing and decorating of the card or name tag and then we try to take at least one of the girls ~ if not both of them~ along to the delivery! Eventhough it is hard sometimes, and I am not perfect, I try to always keep in mind what the Savior would do in any situation that I am faced with and then try my best to Go and Do.
