Hi I'm Brendon

I love to work, I love my God, my Country, and my Family, and I am A Mormon

About Me

I live in the pacific northwest were it rains most of the year. I love being with my family and friends. I love shooting guns out in the middle of no where and at the range. My faith brings me a lot of peace in life and and comfort for the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. At eight years old I was baptized by my father. Our family has a deep history in the church. I can't wait to study more about it and learn of my ancestry. My parents raised me well and taught me the principles or doctrines of the gospel. As I grew older my knowledge and grew and I gained a testimony for myself. I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only church with the authority of God, and this knowledge brings peace to my soul. The church to its fullest capacity brings blessings that we cannot comprehend. It brings a fullness in life and answers for the life to come. I have gained a faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement. Through him all the world my be saved when we are obedient to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel. I know that God lives and is there for us and he loves us very dearly. I have been blessed to be able to know and understand this truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live a life that Jesus Christ would live. It has proven to be very hard since he is perfect. I served a mission in Atlanta Georgia. Working to bring others unto Christ is a good way to live your faith. We have the opportunity to study a lot and to share our feelings with others to help them grow and learn. When we learn and internalize the doctrines of the Gospel we change ourselves, because we understand the way God wants us to live. I strive every day to do as Christ would do to help some one else.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

The Temples are for our Heavenly Father to bless His children. We make covenants with him there and in turn He promises us much more then we have. So simply put, the Temples are for our own benefit as children of God. It is a place of peace and tranquility here on earth. We can go and feel of the Holy Spirit more abundantly inside it's walls.
