Hi I'm Nate

I'm a dirtbiker, skateboarder, snowboarder, scuba diver, artist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old, I have great parents who have supported me in pretty much all i have done, even if it has been dangerous they've stood by me. I am a Eagle Scout. I love Extreme sports and the out doors. I grew up dirtbiking, skateboarding, snowboarding, I am a certified scuba diver, and i have been sky diving once but would like to get more into it later on. I love to draw, I have been doing that all my life and I find a ton of enjoyment doing it. I also love my music and am always up for finding a new band to get into. I can't wait to get married and start a family some day. My family and friends and girlfriend are a HUGE influence in my life and they have helped me make some great decisions, and they are what i love most out of all these things.

Why I am a Mormon

I did grow up in the church. I was baptized when I was 8 years old which was my decision. I honestly didn't have a full testimony at the time of my baptism though. I didn't grasp the huge importance of it at that time, but, I would. Now in my life I have recieved my testimony of the truthfullness of the gospel. The only way that I could was through taking the time to sit down and read the words of the prophets in the Book of Mormon, in the Bible, even through the words of the prophets today, and to pray specificly about them. I now know the importance of that decision I made so many years ago, I can see how much the Atonement of Jesus Christ applies to me every single day of my life and I know that through Christ I can recieve eternal life after I die with my family now and my family which i will have later on. I love the Gospel. It has had such a profound influence in my decisions. I honestly don't know where I would be, or even who I would be without it. I know that there is a plan for me in this life and also in the life to come. We ALL have a chance to live with our Heavenly Father again, even those who have passed on without recieving it, because of the knowledge that the Book of Mormon gives and the revelations given to us through The Prophet, his counselors, and the apostles who are given them through Christ who is the head of the church. I am so thankful for the love that God shows all His children.

How I live my faith

I am currently on a full time mission for the church serving in Georgia. In the mission field we go out and share the gospel with whoever is willing to receive it. "We invite others to come unto Christ through helping them receive the restored Gospel through, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end". I've had so many amazing experiences and I have met some of the most extrodinary people in Georgia. These friendships are going to last forever.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

We believe that just as Christ said to Peter in Matthew 16; 19, that the keys to bind on earth and in heaven were restored to the earth through a Latter-Day Prophet, and the "binding" or "sealing" is how husband and wife can live together forever after this life in eternal happiness when the ordenance is performed in the proper manner by someone holding said "keys".
