Hi I'm Megan

I'm recently married and I plan on making a career helping families that have children with autism. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old, I was recently married to an amazing man and I plan on building a career serving families that have children with Autism.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in Central California, where I was maybe 1 of 10 Mormon kids at my school. I didn't fully understand the Gospel and my Heavenly Father's love for me until I had to make choices that would effect my life here on Earth. I didn't always make the right choices and I would have to take a step back and see that just growing up in this church wouldn't protect me from the sins of the World, but it was there for me when I needed to find relief from the pain of feeling regret and doubt. I had to be converted by my own experiences to believe truly that this is the Church of Jesus Christ and it was restored on this Earth to bring us the fullness of His gospel so that I can walk with my head held high knowing that I did everything that was asked of me so that I can return to live with him one day. I am so grateful for this church that never once made me feel that all was lost and that I had made a mistake that would keep me from being happy. This church has only brought me happiness and love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by enjoying church every Sunday, attending the temple, saying my nightly prayers with my husband and attempting to be a joy for everyone and anyone to be around. I have one of those personalities where I can not sit next to someone and not strike up a conversation about anything that might make it more enjoyable to be where we are at. The Mormon church always tells you to love your neighbor and I have always felt strongly about this. We are all God's children and if He loves everyone then so can we. It might even make our world a better place if we can all leave first impressions behind and start getting to know each other.
