Hi I'm Jason

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single dad working full time and going to school to complete a degree. With all that I also have my four kids who keep me busy, but also help me keep focused on what's important. I've been studying martial arts for 17 years; I love to be outdoors, but I also read voraciously. I've been involved in community theater, have kind of an offbeat sense of humor and love being a member of the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS faith, but haven't always realized what a blessing it is in my life. During my Army Basic training and through my Advanced schools it was a source of strength to me and provided an anchor that I needed. I served an LDS Mission, but after I came back I fell into inactivity. It took a divorce to wake me up and get me to realize how much I needed my Heavenly Father's help and strength in my life. Now that I'm trying harder to have the companionship of the Spirit, I have the peace and joy in my life that the Savior promised. I am able to see how Heavenly Father has blessed me more abundantly than I think I deserve, and I have a hope for the future that I did not have during those times in my life where I was too proud to go to my Heavenly Father for help and guidance. I'm proud to be LDS, I'm grateful to be LDS and I know this is the true Church of Jesus Christ on the earth. I'm thankful for the scriptures, and for a living Prophet. I'm thankful for the chance to be with my family for eternity, and hope that I can help others to come to have these same blessings in their lives

How I live my faith

I am blessed to have 6 Temples within a 30 minute drive from where I live, and try and participate in Temple worship as much as my schedule allows. I am able to teach the Nursery in my ward
