Hi I'm Kimberly

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the Midwest in a small town AND I never dreamed I would have 6 children!

About Me

My husband and I have been married for 30 years. We have six children and most of them have grown into adulthood and I am a grandmother now. My goal as a mother of a large family has always been to create a peaceful and joyful home. My husband and I wanted to provide for our family a safe environment. We would call our home a refuge from the world and the storms of life. To us, it has been a home built on Faith in Jesus Christ, Love, Integrity and Hard Work. Love abounds in serving one another and others.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't deny the power that is found in reading the Book of Mormon. It testifies of Jesus Christ over and over again and continues to help me become a better person and parent by following it's principles. It teaches of love, faith, repentance, hope, forgiveness, peace, joy, charity and the list goes on. Over the years, as we have continued to read the scriptures, we testify that they have provided comfort, peace and safety. The words of the Lord and prophets and apostles have provided that refuge for our family and brought such joy and happiness into our lives.

How I live my faith

Knowing that Jesus Christ is our Savior makes a difference in the way I approach each day. My days start with prayer and I thank my Heavenly Father for my blessings of love, health and family. I pray for those that I know are sick or afflicted, for the missionaries that are serving throughout the world and for leaders of nations. I pray for peace on Earth. I pray to know who I can help and serve and lift or bring comfort too and I listen to the thoughts and feelings that come into my mind and heart. This process reminds me that God loves His children, each and every one of us and causes my heart to be softer toward others and more approachable.
