Hi I'm David

I run Cross Country and Track. I Love Sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have done Track & Field for 5 Year’s, I have compete at the college level, I love playing sports and working out. I am on a mission right now but hope to finish up my college degree as a Chemical Engineer. I have moved around a lot and have seen different parts of the country.

Why I am a Mormon

I grow up in a Kentucky I was always jumping around and went to different church just because that’s where my friends were, other kid’s, and food. Then my family moved and that’s was the greatest blessing ever, at first I hate it and didn’t want to talk to my parents. So they took me to MacDonald’s for dinner and there I met the missionary’s I was about twelve when it happen, and because of two young men I was able to find and join the church and since then I have made some wonder friends. I also became an Eagle Scouts because of leadership that worked well with me. I also have seen the blessing in my family and friends.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the youth and helped do service in my local towns.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

David
God has asked us from the beging to show faith by giving 1 tenth of what we have recieved. God has given us everything we have, why can't we just give a tenth back? God loves us and wants to bless us so to recieve these blessing we most obey his commandments. I know that every time I have paid a tenth I never went with out, but if I even held back a little I could see and fell the differents in my spirit. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

David
Why wouldn’t there be a God? Everything came from some wear. The tiny nucleus had to be made some how. Plus to make water you have to have a perfect state of equilibrium. Let’s say you have a cup of hydrogen and a cup of oxygen how then do you make it in to water? Do you just throw them together or mix them in a mixer and make water? No you can’t but let say you do who then pushes that button to start the mixer or grabs them and throws them together? Someone has to be the starter of it all it just doesn’t simply happen by chance. Now that a little out there yes but I love chemistry so I am a believer in science but I still know there is a God. Science and everything look at a mountain you love, a beach you like to surf, or whatever it is that you love and think who made that? I know without any doubt that God and Jesus Christ live they were the one who create this world and more like it. They did it because the Love us and want us to be Happy. So to answer the question everything in this world tells me there is a God. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

David
Members of the church are not required to serve a mission. All worthy Young Men have been asked to serve but you still get to chose if you want to or not. Women and couples are also asked to serve a mission. Everyone has a different purpose on the earth some are to serve a mission. Others not because there is something else they are suppose to learn. We serve mission not because we have to but because we love the happiness that God has given us and we want to give it to others to have as well.  Show more Show less
