Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in California the youngest of 11 children in a very active Mormon home in a not so Mormon town.

About Me

I am married with 3 fantastic children (all adopted), & the CEO of a small credit union. I love all sports (people tell me I don't like to lose) with my favorites being basketball, volleyball, racquetball, ultimate frisbee, softball, & football. I also love the outdoors - camping, hiking, boating, & just being with my family. I am also the youngest of 11 children (& the favorite uncle too). I also serve as a Mormon Bishop.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the Church when I was born, so I went to Church with my family from an early age. When I was 16 I decided I needed to really know if the Church was true or just a good Church. I soon found out the answer to my question.

How I live my faith

By practicing what I preach. Being a Mormon is a way of life for me & a darn good one at that. I am the same person whether I am speaking in Church, or closing a business deal.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Scott
It is eating & drinking things that are healthy & good for me as well as living an active lifestyle that keeps my body healthy. It is also avoiding harmful substances & moderation in everything. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Scott
A testimony is what I feel inside to be true. It is gained after having experiences that confirm that what I am doing is right & good. It is the Spirit of God confirming to my spirit that certain things are right. Show more Show less
