Hi I'm Paul

I'm a Mormon, I grew up in the church. I was raised in Ogden, Utah, USA I am the oldest of 3 children. I have 2 younger sisters.

About Me

I was born into a family of railroad workers. My dad was a locomotive mechanic. His four brothers and his father all worked for the railroad. My mom's brothers and her father all worked for the railroad. I was raised thinking I would eventually work for the railroad, and I was actually excited to work there. There was never any talk about college or any continuing education. When I was old enough to apply at the railroad they were starting to downsize and not doing any new hires. I then when to work in the building industry and have been doing that for the last 35 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. As I have gotten older I have realized what a blessing it is to be a member of the church. I have found out that when I am living the gospel I am happier and I can see the way the lord blesses his children. It took me a long time to gain a true testimony. I struggled in my youth to gain a testimony. But as I have grown older I can look back and see the changes that I made in my life that has helped my testimony grow.

How I live my faith

I am now preparing to serve a mission with my wife. We will be referred to as a senior missionary couple. We are very excited. I have served in our local congregation as a teacher, an assistant to the bishop, and as a clerk.
