Hi I'm Teresha

I love being a wife & a mother, Thanks to the gospel, it helps me to be the best I can be. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with my parents and two older siblings. I met my husband in August of 1991, and we were married that December. We now have five children. We had a foster child for almost a year, that we all love. I love to hike with my girlfriends and have climbed three 14,000+ ft mountains, hoping to climb more. I also enjoy reading when I get the time, and I love to cook and try new recipes. I have had two recipes published in LDS cookbooks.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family. I don't think I really gained my own true testimony of the truthfulness of the LDS church until later in life. I love the core teachings of the gospel and the strength it gives me to be a good wife & mother. I find true happiness by serving in callings and being a "true" friend to those I visit teach.

How I live my faith

For me, I truly believe that the best way to show our Heavenly Father that we love Him, is by serving others. It has brought me tremendous blessings by serving in my callings. Right now I teach gospel principles which has been a great opportunity to share the basic teachings of the church. I'm known for always doing an "object lesson" in class, which hopefully makes it a fun learning environment for all who attend, including me!

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Teresha
The church is growing because it teaches that the family can be together forever. I believe that a lot of people are drawn to this doctrine. With so much turmoil in the world, the church offers a reprieve from this and brings joy and happiness into the lives of the members. Show more Show less
