Hi I'm Jacob
I'm a Mormon Missionary.
I'm a nineteen year-old adolescent from Gilbert Arizona! I like sports, music, and art. I played volleyball in high school, but love almost every sport. I like to sing, listen to music, and make music on my computer! I'm also trying to revive past forgotten piano playing skills. I like to draw and do graphic design with computer programs like photoshop. I have a strong appreciation for the way art and music influence our lives.
The foundation of the church is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is perfect in every sense of the word. As mormons we strive to become like our Savior, and strive to develop the attributes that He possesses. We strive to have the same love for everyone that He has, to be as virtuous and faithful as He is, to face each challenge with the hope for a better world to come as has been promised through His atoning sacrifice. Mormons have the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and because they do they have the knowledge of a grand and all-encompassing plan that brings to all the comfort of knowing those questions of the soul: Why am I here? Where will I go when I die? Ask just about anyone and they will tell you they can see a different kind of light in the lives of mormons they associate with or even just bump into on the street. I'm a mormon because I've seen the numberless blessings that the gospel brings to people, and I know that without the gospel in my life I would not have much of the happiness that permeates my soul today.
I'm a missionary! I've been called to serve my God for two years as a full-time representative of Christ. I serve in the Billings Montana Mission, awaiting the arrival of my visa to serve my mission in the Brazil Sao Paulo Interlagos Mission. There is nothing I would rather be doing at this time in my life. I love my Savior, I love sharing this His gospel with other children of God, I love the joy and happiness that I can bring to them just by testifying of my knowledge of the gospel. This is what I get to do as a missionary! I get to make everyone around me happy! I'm one of those two guys you probably see riding their bikes together around town everyday, visiting people and sharing the truth... except here in Montana there's four inches of snow on the ground so we walk or drive. I bring to others the knowledge of the gospel.
