Hi I'm Tayler

I'm a wife, mother, and student. I have a disease called Cystic Fibrosis. My life is crazy and I'm a mormon. :]

About Me

My husband and I have been married for over 5 years and we have one son. I recently went back to school to get my bachelors and I love it. On top of everything I have a deadly disease called Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Life with CF isn't easy. There are many daily medications and breathing treatments I have to do that are time consuming, not to mention annual hospitalizations, but I never want this disease to stop me from living a full life or accomplishing the things I'm suppose to do. Doctors told me due to complications for CF that I may not be able to have children yet we have been incredibly blessed to have our son. I was worried that going back to school would be to hard on my health and take away from other areas of my life, yet I felt good about it and I'm able to accomplish everything that needs to get done (and still get good grades). :) Having a little faith can take you a long way. Life is amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because nothing in my life brings me greater joy. It seems the greatest quest in everyone's life is to find peace, contentment, joy, and happiness and I have found that through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was raised in the church so that may have been why I started out as a member but the person I have become through being a mormon is why I decided to stay. Life can be hard and difficulties and trials can come at you from every direction but trusting in God can help you turn those trials into triumphs and make you into a person you never could become on your own. Even suffering through all the difficulties Cystic Fibrosis brings into my life, and knowing that it will eventually take me at an early age, cannot bring down the joy and hope that I feel. I know I will live again, I know I will be with my family forever, and I know everything that I go through in this life, good or bad, is making me better and stronger. Life is good. It was meant to bring us joy and happiness. Being a member of this church has taught me that and that's why I'm a mormon!

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I'm with the younger children (11 and under) while the adults are in their meetings. I spend a portion of time teaching them music and singing with them. It is very fulfilling and I love bringing music into their lives on a weekly bases.
