Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a Daughter of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Mommy of five, underpaid chauffeur, amateur photographer, piano teacher, and super geek that dreams of one day waking up with a brilliant British accent. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

Thanks goes to my awesome parents who not only raised me to love the Gospel, they taught me how to live the Gospel by living it themselves. I started reading the scriptures on my own when I was twelve. I was taught by loving teachers to read the scriptures everyday, and I took that advice to heart. Daily scripture reading and prayer as a teenager helped me know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was true, and it kept me on the right path. I keep the commandments not for reward, and not because I have to. I keep the commandments because I love my Heavenly Father, and His son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

If there's one thing I've learned in my 40 years on this planet, it's this: My Heavenly Father loves me. He is completely aware of me, He hears my prayers, and He answers me. When I feel like my world is caving in around me, He sends the Holy Ghost to comfort me. I live my faith by trying to be an instrument in His hands. I do my best to teach my kids, I do my best to fulfill my callings. I attend the temple, read my scriptures, and pray till my knees give out. When my best isn't enough, when I feel like I can't do anymore, the Savior steps in and rescues me. Every. Time. I'm beyond grateful to be a member of this church. It is the most important thing in my life.
