Hi I'm Grant
I'm a young father and husband. I'm a Mormon.
I've been married over 10 years. My wife and i adopted a beautiful little girl. She has turned me into a softie. I work as an engineer designing bridges, buildings, roads, and land development.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born a Mormon, kind of. I grew up going to church most of the time but I didn't really catch the vision of what being a Mormon was until my teens. I had some good leaders that helped me understand that I had a chance to really help other people and myself by following the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to see the gospel in action. I love to see how things come together with a little planning and heart, and a lot of faith. My testimony of the gospel is based mostly in seeing how it works miracles in the lives of people. I love to understand the world, and it seems like every time I learn more about the gospel, it just fits right in and feels right.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by doing what I feel Jesus Christ needs me to do. I enjoy serving in the church because it makes me feel needed. But the real satisfaction comes from teaching other people and seeing the light bulb turn on when they realize something that now makes sense. My favorite assignment was working with the youth as the Scoutmaster. There is so much that can be taught to a young man that will help him make good decisions and succeed in life. I don't pretend to know everything, I guess I like teaching so much because I feel that the gospel has helped me succeed and have a happy life, and I want others to know how to get the same thing.
