Hi I'm Crystal

I grew up in Alabama. Had a culture shock when I moved to Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 who loves being at home with my family, even though at times life is crazy with young kids and infant twins. When I really think about it, nothing in this life can beat being at home. I also love teaching gymnastics, being outdoors, and reading a great book. There is so much to learn in life. We are all students no matter what age we are.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family in Alabama. Needless to say, I was different from all of those around me. Even though I stood out to my friends, coworkers and those I went to school with, I loved what I was taught from childhood. I found a peace from knowing who I was - A child of God! As a normal teenager, I wanted to fit in, but at the same time I always knew there was so much more to life then just fitting in. Because of that, I was able to be myself and learn to love myself. I loved that I didn't drink and it was cool to me. I was unique to those around me. I loved that I didn't date till I was 16 yrs old. It made my first year of dating that much more fun because it was special. As I look back, I loved being different from everyone else. I realized that life is so special when we follow the Lord. We can love who we are and what we stand for. From learning at a young age that I am a child of God, I've been able to develop a relationship with the Lord that makes it easier to follow His commandments. I want to be good because I want to return back to His presence. I know that we can!! Only through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints do we have the knowledge of who we are, why we are here on earth, and where we are going after this life. Knowing these 3 things has made the difference in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to teach my children everyday that they are a child of God and He loves them. I also have served a mission for the church. When you feel God's love for you, you just want to shout it out. I now enjoy visiting with friends and neighbors. I try to serve them and help them in their lives. We all need help here and there and it is great to know that we can support each other.
