Hi I'm Seth

Hello there! I love sports, I love to laugh, I love people in general. I love my family and my awesome huge dog, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, and I spend all of my free time either playing sports or singing. I am currently attending a university and hope to become a physical therapist (It's the only career I could think of that would keep me in sports and make money...besides playing professional sports). I absolutely love to laugh and am always ready to tell a joke or story. Hmm...what else? I played piano for a little while but then I let it go...mistake, should have kept playing. I love Harry Potter and superheros and anything else cool like that, and I've never met a sandwich that I don't like, or a chicken burrito, yea I just love to eat. Southern food is still the bomb though! Yea that about covers it I guess. I don't know who you are but I just have to say... you're probably super awesome and we would probably be great friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by two convert parents who became members before I was born. I continue to follow the gospel simply because I know that it is true. I have been brought to tears too many times by the comfort and affirming witness of the spirit to deny the truthfulness of the gospel. Each time that I walk into church I feel a great comfort come over me, knowing that it is like my home and that the people in the church are an extension of my loving family. I know that this is the true church, that Joseph Smith truly saw God the eternal Father and our Savior Jesus Christ, and that because of this event the true church of Jesus Christ is on the Earth again. I know that the power of the priesthood, including the power and authority to baptize, has been restored once again. I know that my family will be together forever due to that priesthood authority, and I look forward to spending eternity with my family, Jesus Christ, and our Father in Heaven as long as I stay faithful to the commandments of our Lord. I know that this gospel has brought me great joy, and I will never stray from the truth that resides in this church and gospel! I am a Mormon because I know this is the true church, that has brought me great joy in this life and helped me endure the many trials that we face in this life. This is my simple testimony, and I desire you to read and consider it sincerely, and I challenge you to investigate this church and find out for yourself what I have come to know is true.

How I live my faith

I have always greatly enjoyed home teaching. It is an opportunity for me to visit a few members of the ward, to get to know them better, and to serve them. It is great to know that whenever a family I home teach needs assistance with something, whether it is moving furniture or giving a blessing, they trust me enough to call me for help, and I pray that I will always be ready to lend an able hand. I strive to live a life that exemplifies my Savior Jesus Christ and I try to always lend a smile, wave, and helping hand to anyone and everyone who needs it. I try to read the scriptures daily and pray throughout the day in order to stay close to my Father in Heaven and stay knowledgable about the word of God. I go to church every Sunday, but the best way I try to live my faith is what I mentioned earlier...just trying to be a good example and being ready to help those in need.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

We have missionaries proselyte because we wish to share the knowledge of the truth that someone else has so graciously shared to us. Any good person, if they knew the principles and guidelines that would allow people to return to their Father in Heaven, would want to share that message to everyone. That is why we proselyte. We believe that through obedience to the laws and ordinances given to us by scripture and modern revelation, that we can live in eternal joy with our families, friends, and with our Savior and Father in Heaven. We proselyte because we want to give others this wonderful message of hope and joy. Show more Show less
