Hi I'm AJ

I'm a nerd, I'm a musician, I'm a Ninja, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love free running, making movies, singing, drumming, drawing, exercising, eating, mixed martial arts and wooden sword fighting. I have dreams of becoming a stunt director then a full on director and producer of animated (some live action) films

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by a loving mother who is a convert to the church she taught me correct principles and after a lot of trial and error I have decided to follow them. I have received evidences that the church was true time and time again but most of the time I was too blind to see them.

How I live my faith

I have recently returned from being a full time missionary for the church and have been able to help in the youth program the church runs.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

AJ
Have you ever tried to turn on a light switch without the main power to the house switched on. Have you tried to change channels on the TV without batteries in the remote. Have you tried having a bath without water and soap. Baptism without authority is just like these examples its the main ingredient for A baptism to be accepted by God is if God allows someone to perform it. Show more Show less

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

AJ
God wants his children to come to earth. It is by his divine design that they come into life in a family with a mother and a father bound together with marriage. thats the way he created it. If a man is with a man or a woman with a woman this doesn't happen. God made marriage between a man and a woman he still loves us and we try to emulate that love and so doing we can not sit there and let others make a mockery of what he puts in place. Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

AJ
I think the most common misconception about this fact is that people think that having the priesthood means your better than others or have power over them. A husband and wife are counted as one in Gods eyes, perfectly united and if one trys to extract unrighteous dominion and some ill-conceived power over the other it will be to their judgement. God only gives the priesthood to men because woman don't need it, they can receive all the blessings God has in store for them without needing to hold the priesthood. And on the other hand men do.
