Hi I'm Joe

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in New York. My job allows me to help other people find jobs. I'm a veteran and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and dad who loves the Lord and and my family. I have a great job that allows me to help others help themselves. I assist older adults by helping them find employment. I enjoy travelling and photography.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Catholic but for many years I didn't believe I needed any organized religion. I thought as long as I practiced," the golden rule" and went about my way, everything would be alright. I thought I was my own man and I didn't need to attend any church especially on Sunday during football season. It wasn't until my life hit some rough patches that I realized I not only didn't have all the answers but that I really didn't have a clue about what the purpose of life is. I also realized that I needed to turn to God more often then just when things got rough in life. It was around this point that I saw a message from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on television which posed this very question, " Do you know what is the purpose of life?" Intrigued, I invited two missionaries from the Church into my home for discussions. I learned that we all come from a Heavenly Father and that we are all His spiritual children and therefore we all brothers and sisters. I also learned that He loves all of us and He has a purpose and a plan for us both in this life and beyond. He wants us to all return to Him and He has prepared a way for us to return to Him so that families can be together forever. Through the work of his only begotten son, Jesus Christ we can all return to our Heavenly Father. I learned to plant seeds of faith through the Word of God and as my faith grew I knew the fruit to be good and the Word of God to be true. God is good and life has a purpose. I invite you to take the same experiment of faith that I did. Invite the missionaries into your home and study and pray about the Word of God. If you do this, I know you will also learn of God's wonderful plan for you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. Our Church has no paid clergy so members are called to serve. As we serve we believe we not only show our love toward each other and our fellow man but that we serve God and show our love toward Him.

Are Mormons Christians?

Absolutely. Jesus Christ is the head of our church and in fact the real name of our church is, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Show more Show less
