Hi I'm Eugenia

I'm American-born Chinese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, wife, and student. My favorite person in the world is my wonderful husband! I love cooking Chinese food because that's our favorite. Next is Thai food. :) I love missionary work and meeting new people!

Why I am a Mormon

Being LDS brings great peace and happiness to my life and in my family! Sometimes, life seems to have an unending flow of challenges, but when I pray and read the scriptures with my husband, we find the strength and courage to keep on going and more love for each other. :)

How I live my faith

I am a teacher in the women's organization of the Church called the Relief Society. Every month, I prepare and share a lesson that is interesting, edifying, and uplifting. I visit other girls in the ward and try to help them feel God's love for them. As I do these things, I think of a quote from Elder Boyd K. Packer: "Learn how to pray and how to receive answers to your prayers. When you pray over some things, you must patiently wait a long, long time before you will receive an answer. Some prayers, for your own safety, must be answered immediately, and some promptings will even come when you haven’t prayed at all. Once you really determine to follow that guide, your testimony will grow and you will find provisions set out along the way in unexpected places, as evidence that someone knew that you would be traveling that way." As I serve others, I always pray to do the right things so that I can perhaps touch one person's life for good.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We need a Savior because we want to have eternal families--families that last beyond death. Family relationships are often not perfect, but as we strive to live like Christ, we learn how to love each other better. When we make mistakes, we can be made clean because of Christ's atoning sacrifice for us. Show more Show less
