Hi I'm Hannah

I love to smile, am constantly learning, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For anyone who knows me, they descover fairly quickly that I take pride in my italian haritage. I was raised the 5th of 6 children & it has been the best learning experience to date. I love to smile, make music & dance. I wish I could fly and breath under water. When I started college, I didn't really know what to major in, so I finally settled on Spanish because I seem to have some talent in that area. But things change and I graduated with an associates of fine arts. I am currently serving a mission for the church in the Argentina Buenos Aires North Mission, and I'm loving every minute. I play the piano, dance and sing. Learning to play the Cello is on my bucket list, & when I grow up I want to be a motivational speaker.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day saints. My mother was raised in the church, but my father was raised catholic. He joined the church because he loved my mother, but did not have any sort of conviction until I was about six. Finally starting to ask questions and show an interest, I watched my father grow. The gospel changed his life, & he became a better and stronger person for it. Observing my father and this conversion, I learned that nothing in life will happen unless you take action. If one wishes to learn the truthfulness of the gospel, they must first study it out for themselves, & then ask Heavenly Father if it is true. I have used this model since that experience to understand many gospel principals. Having questions is a good thing, because it motivates a person to act. I am a Mormon because I have asked questions & am still asking those questions. And through study & prayer I have learned that I am a child of God. Christ lives & chose to suffer for me, so I can return to my Father in Heaven. God guides us through scripture & modern Prophets. I sustain our Prophet Thomas S. Monson & the Twelve Apostles, for they are truly Men of God. Through modern revelation the Gospel is restored to this earth once more, Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon - which testifies that Jesus is the Christ - & we know that God still speaks to his children because He loves us.

How I live my faith

From the beginning of my time here on earth, I have had the desire to serve God and His Children. Specifically through the Missionary Program of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Something in my heart could not bear the thought that anyone should miss the opportunity to be as happy as I. When I was three I told my Grandfather that I was going to serve a full time mission. Although I cannot remember much before that, my mother tells me that I have always talked about missionary work. While Growing up, my elder brother was my hero, I imitated everything he did. My dream was to be just like him. As I've grown, my persective has changed, but I still remember. God remembered as well. I recieved My Mission Call on January 13th 2011. My heart was pounding as I opened the large envelope. As I looked at the piece of paper I read where I would be assigned. "You have been hereby called to serve... you have been assigned to labor in the Argentina Buenos Aires North Mission." This was the mission that my brother, my childhood hero served in. The tender mercies of the Lord are present in the lives of ALL His children. I wanted to be like my older brother, that dream came true. But even more importantly, I want to be like my Savior, and that dream will be realized as I strive to follow His example.
