Hi I'm Kira

I love to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm going to school studying Health Science. My main goal is to graduate and my second goal is to travel and experience different cultures. My activities right now include school, choir, the activities program at my school, and tennis.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members and took me to church and I was baptized at age eight. I know it might be hard to believe due to my young age but when I was baptized I felt something and I knew from that moment on that this church was true. After my baptism I literally felt as though my soul was clean. Nonetheless I have been tempted throughout my life but have tried to remain true to what I know is right. More than anything, more than graduating college, more than traveling the world, I want to live with my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ once more.

How I live my faith

I devote my life trying to follow Jesus Christ’s example. I smile to strangers on campus. I wait my turn to cross the street even though it is freezing outside. I help my roommate study for a test even though I have homework that needs to be done. I’m aware of people who are going through tough times and include them in the group. I still have much to learn but I try to live my faith the best way I can.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes! We are. Mormon is a slang word used because we read the Book of Mormon but our official name is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior that he was resurrected and he suffered for our sins in order to save us. Show more Show less
