Hi I'm James

I am a Pool Technician in Arizona. I am a new dad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm happily married to the love of my life and we recently had our first child, a baby girl. I enjoy seeing my little girl smile and grow. I work full time as a swimming pool technician. After I get back from work each day, I attend college and take online classes where I am working towards a degree in Water Treatment. I like to spend my free time with my little family. I also like music and outdoor activities as well as painting and writing. I have been a Mormon my whole life, and at a young age I was taught the importance of following Jesus Christ's example. In 2006, I left my home in Arizona to serve a mission in Santiago, Chile. There, I learned Spanish and taught the Chilean people the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I continue serving in the church today because it brings me joy. As the years pass, I want to teach my children how to live good and productive lives as Jesus showed us.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of church members, and I learned at a young age the teachings of Jesus Christ. I was taught to pray each day and read the scriptures, but most importantly to live like Jesus lived! As I continue doing my best each day, I find that internal happiness is achievable, even if the external things of life are not ideal. My belief in Jesus Christ changes who I am, I feel peace and joy as I try to be more like Him. I intend to stay active in the church forever. Most of my best friends are people I have met at church. They provide a good influence to me, and they encourage me to make the right decisions in life. I am so grateful for the good examples of faithful members of the church, their clean and happy lives show me that I am on the right path.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday. I participate in church activities throughout the week. I read from the scriptures every day because it gives me strength to go on in the day and it reminds me to trust in the Lord. I try to pray many times each day because the power of the Lord is real, and He gives me strength to make the right choices. My calling at church is to help the Scouts by documenting their progress and encouraging them to achieve.
