Hi I'm Christy!

I'm a college student. I love living in the south. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 20 years old. I'm a full time college student working on my associate degree in administrative office technologies. I'm short (4'11"), I love daisies, and I think hugs are awesome. Green is my favorite color. I love looking up quotes online, and I'm generally a very happy person. I love music, especially country, and I love to play the piano. I love watching old movies (Singing in the Rain, Glass Bottom Boat, etc.). I've got a few favorite TV shows, but my all time favorite is NCIS. I love to read; some of my favorites are Harry Potter, the Matched trilogy, and most of Sara Dessen's books. I'm the youngest of 4 children (my siblings are 34, 32, and 28). I have 3 nieces and 3 nephews that I think are the cutest/funniest kids in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church and baptized when I was 8, but when I was in high school I read The Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it's true. I received the answer that it is, and I've never doubted that this is the only true church on the Earth. I love the gospel so much, and I would hate to think what my life would be like without it.

How I live my faith

Every day I try to be an example of the love that Christ has for each and every one of His children.

Are Mormons Christians?

"Mormons" is just a nickname people have given our religion. The real name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer just like all other Christians. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that the family is central to Heavenly Father's plan for us. We are born into families that help and teach us to understand the love that our Father has for us, and help us grow closer to Him. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

It's pretty awesome! Because of the knowledge that I've gained as a result of being a member of the Church, I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father that loves me no matter what. Sometimes the standard are tough to live, but I know that as a result of living them, I will be happier and better off. Show more Show less
