Hi I'm Donna.

I'm a Mormon. I'm a Carolina mom, married with 4 kids.

About Me

My parents joined the church when I was a toddler. I attended college and served a mission in Spain, and married my sweetheart 20 years ago. We are busy raising four kids, ranging from middle school to college, participating in the community, and enjoy spending time with the youth.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful to know that my Heavenly Father created me, loves me and has a plan. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us where we came from, why we are here and where we are going. When I direct my life with that mission in mind, I have peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I help others become better teachers. I feel the Lord wants us all learn more, sharing with others is part of that. The teachers I work with teach daily scripture class for high school study before school. Yes, before school. Some classes start as early as 6:00 am.--all depending on school times, driving times, etc.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Donna.
The family is a key part of Heavenly Father's plan. He wants us to be loved, protected, and taught. In families we practice living the gospel of Jesus Christ through love, service, forgiveness, and sometimes enduring. We have tried to provide a safe and loving home where the children can learn about God's plan and practice making good choices and serving others. We encourage them to serve in their schools and communities, as well as church congregation. One child have practiced the piano many years in order to share music with others. One child never leads until all the chairs have been put away and the meeting house is left in order. Another child enjoys being one of the oldest of the children's group so she can mentor and look after the others. Here they are practicing things they learned in the family, for their larger church family. Once they are old enough, they will find ways to serve and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with their spiritual brothers and sisters. We are all children of God. We are here to serve and love one another. Show more Show less
