Hi I'm Stephanie A.

I am a wife and the happy mother of 9. I love to sing and sew and be creative. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Every day is busy in our house. Having nine kids in twelve years will have that effect on a home. I love my job, being a wife and mom. I always wanted to have a large family and I got lucky enough to fall in love with a sweet man who wanted the same thing. I love to create. Figuring out how to make things I see in pictures or in stores is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. I am a thinker and a dreamer. I plan for the future and then work hard to make it happen. I LOVE to sing and play the piano. Music stirs my soul and brings joy in to my home. Reading and learning new things are also passions of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was a toddler, so I was raised in a Mormon household. I have always felt strongly that I truly am a daughter of a loving Father in Heaven. As I grew and learned more about Him and His plan for me, I have gained a peace and understanding that I believe cannot be found any where other than in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. I turn to the Book of Mormon for answers and inspiration often, and as I seek, I am always filled with comfort and understanding . I have read it many times and have felt the Spirit confirm in my heart that it is true. As I seek to become closer to God and my Savior, I feel happiness and strength. The teachings of the Lord draw my family closer together and bind us together as an eternal family. For me, the gospel fills my life with light and joy. Why would I want to be anywhere else?

How I live my faith

I hope to bring the love of our Heavenly Father to those around me through my love and service. I strive to be a good neighbor and friend. I am grateful for opportunities to bring meals to those who are sick, befriend those who are lonely and give a helping hand to serve in my community. In church I am currently serving the youth in the Young Women's organization. It is such a joy to teach these girls, and watch them grow into loving women with strength and moral courage and a desire to be influences for good in the world. I have been a Sunday School teacher and have also served through music, leading the choir, teaching music to the children and playing the piano. As I have served, I have learned that the people in this world I grow to love the most are the ones I have served.
