Hi I'm Alvin

I grew up in Philippines, now a permanent resident in Maryland. I'm a teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a very jolly person and enjoys teaching so much that it has been my life and passion. It feels extra special every time I see my students become successful in life, in any endeavor that they pursue, most especially if they have applied the knowledge they gained in our classroom while bringing with them Christ-like attributes like humility and unselfish service.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in the power of the priesthood and is very much grateful for the atoning sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I have faith that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church and that the Book of Mormon is true.

How I live my faith

I am recently given a calling, Sunday School President in our ward. I am so excited to magnify my calling because I know our Heavenly Father will be joyful if we use our talents to serve our fellowmen. Teaching is one of my talents and I'm hoping I can effectively contribute in the Sunday School Organization. I have a temple recommend. Being at the most sacred place, the House of God, I feel great joy, love & peace! I live my faith by being a good example to others. I look at everyone as a child of God, worthy of love, respect and understanding. Always "Choose The Right" and you will never regret being on the side of righteousness, you will surely reap blessings more than you can imagine even true happiness and exaltation.
