Hi I'm Hanna

I'm captivated by music and science and I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

I'm a 21-year-old nursing student from California. I love chickens and eating top ramen as well as painting, singing, theatre, and playing piano. I believe everybody is somebody worth knowing and loving.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life and always been fond of the church. However, I didn't really KNOW it was true until my dad passed away in a plane accident my sophomore year in high school. Everything in my life changed. Once I got over how incredibly angry I was, I learned how much I need my Heavenly Father. This church didn't create something for me to believe in, it showed me what already existed that I need to believe in. I learned how unconditional and endless God's love is for every single person that ever has, does, and will live. I know I can depend on my Father in heaven and Jesus Christ always. They will never let me down. Just as I know the sky is blue, I know and testify that God and Christ live today with bodies of flesh. I have felt their love encompass me in my every time of need, fear, and despair if I will but turn to them. They wait with open arms to receive each and every one of us because each of us is so deeply important to them. Both of them have suffered and given so much on our behalf because each and every soul is so precious. How could we deny our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother our love and trust after we've been given this wonderful opportunity to live on this earth and prove our faith and love? God is our father and Christ is our brother, they miss their family and want us to come back to them more than anything. The only way we can do that is through the Gospel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I think the main way that I live my faith each and every day is made manifest in the way I treat others. I truly love Christ, feel his love for me and others, and in turn feel that love for others in my own heart. The closer I come to my Savior, the closer I feel to every person I just pass on the street. I make efforts to help others in any way that I can--from helping them study for a test, to introducing myself and learning about them and truly caring about them. Reflect Christ in all that you do by doing what he would do.
