Hi I'm Jane

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a mother of 4 boys and 1 girl. I''ve been married for 34 years and live in VA. I drive a school bus for a living and have driven for 26 years. I love sports especially rowing and I'm on a competitive crew team.I like most outdoor activities and spend quiet time reading espionage novels. My favorite animal is the Siberrian Husky and I have two of them. I joined the church when I was 16 and was married in the Washington DC temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the LDS church because I truly believe that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ restored again to this earth. It's comforting to know that we are here for a reason and that I will be with my family again after this life.Living the gospel principals makes every day decisions easier to handle. I find peace and comfort in all aspects of my life knowing the truth of all things.Being a member of the Church makes me apart of a larger family and I'm around people that I can truly trust. As I live the gospel, I exerience an uplifting feeling by the Holy Ghost and it makes me treasure my life in general.I know who I am, where I am going and the purpose of why I am here.

How I live my faith

I'm active in my ward and have held many positions. I live my standards and try to be an example to every person I meet. I'm thankful to the missionaries that came by by home in 1975 and introduced my family to the Lord's church. One of the goals I set in life was to get married in the Temple and so I introduced the gospel to by then boyfriend .Long story short, he was converted and a year later in 1977 we were married in the Washington DC Temple. I have since exerpienced the Temple marriage of my oldest son. I'm a pioneer in my family and thankful that the gospel in now proceeding through my future generations.
