Hi I'm Ellen Nicole

I love to see the beauty in the world, and try to contribute to it through painting, bookbinding, dancing, music and so much more.

About Me

I recently graduated from college with a bachelors of arts degree in dance with a minor in anthropology. I love anything that is creative like singing, playing piano guitar and accordion, painting, etc. I have a small business where I sell original paintings, handbound books and other accessories and I volunteer with a Shakespeare company. Being creative reminds me that I am a daughter of God, who is the Original Creator. By creating things that are beautiful, I testify of His great power and infinite love.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of believing and practicing Mormons, but I am a Mormon today for deeply personal reasons. My belief and faith is part of every bit of me. Everything I do or see or experience confirms my beliefs all the more. Whether it be in nature, or in people, I can see the hand of my Heavenly Father guiding us all to where we need to be. I know that God loves me, and that He loves ALL of his children, and I strive to share that love. I have had many opportunities to remind myself why I believe what I do. To search and pray, and ask if this Church is true. Every time, my faith has been strengthened. I love learning about other's and their beliefs. How we differ, and more importantly, what we have in common. These experiences have opened my eyes the many wonderful people there are in this world, but they have also given me chances to solidify my own beliefs. There is great truth here.

How I live my faith

I am in a Young Single Adult ward so I am surrounded my other young people who believe what I do. I also work once a week as an ordinance worker in the Provo Utah Temple. By setting aside this time every week, I gain a greater eternal perspective.
