Hi I'm Roger Muir

I'm a dad. I'm an advertising consultant. I'm a boy scout master. I'm a published author and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a family man. Father to four fantastic boys and husband to one incredible wife. I love being at home, playing games, entertaining friends and family, eating buckets of ice cream. I'm a published author and enjoy working with teenagers.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the great personal questions in life is Why Am I Here? and I asked that of myself years ago. During that time I came to know that God lives and that Jesus Christ loves me and that one of the great purposes in life is to build strong meaningful relationships with Christ, friends and family members, such that those relationships might remain intact, even after this life is over.

How I live my faith

I have tried to model much of my life after Jesus' approach, namely befriending people and helping others during difficult times. Service in the Church has allowed me to care for widows, assist single mothers, offer aid to a sick or discouraged neighbor. I think I've most enjoyed the times I've been able to influence teenagers as they tried to figure out who they are. My wife and I have tried to purposely make our home a safe and happy place where people could forget about their problems, enjoy a little peace and perhaps even remember how to laugh again.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Roger Muir
Absolutely. I hate to think that God would have given the world a messenger thousands of years ago just to write it all down in the scriptures and leave us on our own to figure it all out today. In this day and age, when the world is filled with people, diversity, cultures, and numerous religious and political points of view, I am grateful to know that God still reveals his will to his prophets, just as he has always done.
