Hi I'm Anna

I live in Las Vegas, stay at home with my babies, and crochet all sorts of things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm happily married to my best friend and we are the parents of a little girl and a little boy. They are 15 months apart! I finished college in 2009. I'm blessed to be able to stay at home and raise our kids! In 2010 I started my online business selling things I crochet and sew. It is for a hobby and to get a bit of extra cash. I love to make things and it's a great way to share what I love and hopefully to inspire others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had a sense of longing to understand my spiritual heritage. I feel as though life began long before I was born on earth. Only this Church explains why those yearnings exist. I know that there is a Father in Heaven who loves me, and has set up this earthly experience for me to learn and grow.

How I live my faith

I stay at home (instead of work outside the home) to raise my children. I want them to have the opportunity to be taught specifically by their own parents, and because of our situation, I'm able to do so. I've recently been asked to help with the scouting program in my area - I have a lot to learn! My online business focuses on clothing for the family. I believe that clothing is important (one of the three basic needs: food, clothing and shelter). I make items that are in-line with my beliefs for modesty and that give me an opportunity to share my love for creating.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Yes, Mormons believe the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God. However, we realize that it has passed through the hands of so many people (translators, etc). Although many had good intentions, not all of the changes made to the Bible were under direct guidance from God. Some people even had intentions to change things so that they could continue to do things that were wrong. The Bible has many wonderful parables, lineages, passages, and records. I especially love to read about Christ's life and ministry on the earth. Show more Show less
